I need a sd card reader since my computer doesn't have the correct hookup. Does it matter? - mmc usb adapter

stating that the reader SD / MMC / USB 2.0 drive adapter card and the card that I have the SanDisk 4GB? Probably sounds stupid, but I will not buy a bad thing.
