Seizures In Elderly Cats My Dog Is Elderly And Is Shaking, Not Like Seizure, But Like Cold Or Scared Is She Okay?

My dog is elderly and is shaking, not like seizure, but like cold or scared is she okay? - seizures in elderly cats

Basset Hound We have saved a few years ago and is the sweetest dog ever, blew somthing good morning, and she got scared and hid with my mother and shook a little, then our fire alarm went before (the brother of the kitchen) and hidden and denied again .... now I'm with her, and she shakes her, shes not bother to move easily, right?

Shaking is a sign of pain, but said that both times something that scared the dog. I think shaking it because he is afraid. When dogs get older, it is for the syndrome of cognitive dysfunction (eg Alzheimer's) joint and shows many different ways. I think it's easy to fear the most.

But not when taking the vet for a time, perhaps a good idea, because things change very quickly with our dogs - they really need the control of geriatrics or twice a year.

with the sequence of events is unlikely that pain, noise, fear of it - as some dogs are afraid of thunder - it is the fear of loud noises. Call your veterinarian, he / she will probably tell him something like Benadryl to calm or just wait for him to calm down.

My dog is 16 years, almost 17 years, sometimes moves like that. She could be sick - or more confused, anxious or just cold. When they are old dogs who have problems regulating their temperature, but .... with the fire alarm system, I'm sure it's just fear. It will be great! Do not worry .=)

There was no fear, the more likely if it is old. My friend has a dog of 15 years waving Weiner (Dotson spell XD) (between men), but every time I bit on this subject are invited to put down.

Your dog has health problems? Dogs tend to shake when you're in pain. It is one of the few ways to show that they are in pain. I did not know until my vet told me recently.

It can certainly be a signal of pain.

Leave the computer and take it to a veterinarian for the love of God.
